Report a Park Problem

Call 911 in an emergency.  Users of Jasper's Dog Park do so at their own risk.  Neither the City of Kirkland nor Kirkland Dog Off-Leash Group shall be liable for any injury or damages sustained at Jasper's Dog Park.  Dog owners are legally responsible for their dog's actions and are liable for any injuries caused by their dog.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN INJURY

In the event that you or your dogs are hurt by another dog or individuals, you should:

  1. Call 911 if there is a serious life-threatening injury to a human.
  2. Seek medical attention immediately.  If your dog has been injured it is important to have your dog checked by a veterinarian as soon as possible.  Often it can seem like a dog is not injured during a conflict/scuffle, but the contact between dogs can lead to a serious infection that is not visible.
  3. Exchange contact info. with the other dog handler and collect contact info. from any witnesses. Take photos of handlers and dogs involved if it is safe to do that.  Recording license plate info. could be helpful.
  4. Report the incident to the Kirkland Police at 425-577-5656.  It is important to make this report because if this dog or dog handler has been involved in multiple incidents a report could prevent future injuries.

If you’ve noticed maintenance problems at the park (downed trees, fencing, gates, bag dispensers, etc.)  please contact us at kdog@kdog.org. Please note this is a volunteer run organization and it may take a few days for someone to respond. If you have urgent questions or concerns regarding the park contact Jennifer Schroder, City of Kirkland Park & Community Services Director, at 425-587-3301.
